- Hi, My name is Dennis van Asselt, 'The Flying Dutchman'. I'm a self-described food snob looking for the perfect crème brûlée, among other eats. I'm working on a cookbook/restaurant guide for Miami. I'd love to talk with people about the business!

Three weeks ago, I wrote a short article about Scorch restaurant. I loved it, but the owner -even though she liked it as well - was afraid my tongue-in-cheek approach (hauling in Satan and the battle between heaven and hell) would offend the nuns who frequently visit the place.
